Why cropping a picture.

I like to crop closeups to make them feel even closer and to get away all the disturbing things I forgot to look for when I took the picture. I never think that I should crop when I take the picture but somhow I always end up with the cropping tool in Photoshop. I borrowed my dear friend Kellys lovely picture. Turned it into black and white and cropped it a little bit. The first thing you see when you look at the coloured one is the girl in the front. The second thing you see is her parents ...or is it the red playgroundstuff in the back? Two subjects that are having a competition about how to "read" the picture and that can be disturbing. Abra-kadabra, crop, crop and the first thing you see is still the girl and then: ta-da her parents.

When you marked the area that you will keep dubble click in that area and your picture is cropped.
